A fantastic opportunity has become available for a talented Desktop Support Professional for a 12 month contract. Our client is a major global energy organisation with offices across Australia. This role is to provide support to both users and service delivery functions across the organisation.
You will be resolving issues by providing advice or training to users about the application systems functionality, by correcting faults, by making general or site-specific modifications, by updating system documentation, by manipulating data, or by defining enhancements - often in close collaboration with the systems’ developers.
To secure this position you will have:
- MCP certification (highly regarded)
- A minimum of 3-4 years experience in delivering support in a desktop capacity, and a demonstrated experience in supporting a large user base (2 nd and 3 rd level)
- Windows NT/XP/2000,
- Active Directory and Exchange & MS Outlook.
- Your combined skills in applications, hardware and knowledge of network principles will be key to your success.
Key to your success will be your strong customer service skills, second to none verbal communication skills, eye for detail, and solid documentation skills.
Remuneration/ Rate: $ Negotiable
