Our client is seeking an experienced Risk & Issues Manager to work at the Program level across multiple large scale projects. Your experience in project management along with your appreciation for delivering projects of quality, and your passion for identifying and managing risks to ensure projects are well delivered, will be key to this role.
You will be working with key stakeholders from the business as well as IT (including architects), multiple project managers and program managers. This role is critical in ensuring this exciting enterprise wide program progresses in a timely and successful manner.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills are critical to your success in this role.
To be successful you will need to possess the following:
- Proven success in risk and issue management across large scale projects and programs
- Thorough understanding of, and experience in, working within project services and an appreciation for project lifecycles and project governance.
- Some project management experience would also be advantageous for this role
- Very strong skills in MS Project, MS Visio and MS Office
- Ability to implement and maintain the program issues and risks logs
- Your ability to facilitate the necessary mitigation strategies to resolve thes risks and issues in a timely manner
- Strong attention to detail and tenacity.
- Your people skills are key to this role
